Dear Friends, In January, we welcomed in The Year of the Rat with our Chinese New Year Celebration. We celebrated with song, dance and a variety of delicious foods. At this time, it is important to listen to facts and not respond to fear. Currently there are no confirmed cases of novel coronavirus in New York City and the risk to New Yorkers remains low.
Dear Friends, In December we enjoyed holiday celebrations. We learned about the Jewish Holiday of Chanukah as we tasted Latkes(Potato Pancakes). We built and decoratedindividual gingerbread houses for Christmas and we also enjoyed a visit from Santa Claus. We welcomed in the New Year with our very own New Year’s Countdown. Dear Pre-K for All Family and Friends, In October we experienced all the wonders of Autumn through our five senses. We saw the changing colors of the leaves, felt the cool breezes and tasted our own homemade applesauce. Our activities included sorting leaves, weighing pumpkins, and comparing scents and textures.
